Don Bosco Prep Rolls to 4-0 with 35-9 Win Over Paramus Catholic

Don Bosco Prep arrived in Paramus on Friday night and left no doubt, rolling past Paramus Catholic 35-9 to improve to a perfect 4-0 on the season. It was a complete performance — dominant up front, disciplined in all three phases, and relentless from the opening drive to the final whistle.
Ca'si Thomas was the engine of the offense, rushing for three touchdowns to push his season total to eight scores. The junior running back repeatedly broke through the second and third levels of the Paramus Catholic defense, and Don Bosco's offensive line deserved equal credit, creating gaping holes all night. Thomas entered the game as the workhorse, and he delivered. Sophomore Chad Richardson also saw extended action in the fourth quarter, showing the one-two backfield punch that coach Dan Sabella is clearly developing for the long run.
Carson Schoen operated efficiently under center throughout, directing a ball-control offense that chewed up the clock and the opposition. He added a rushing touchdown of his own and capped the scoring with a touchdown pass to Isaiah Alvarez — the only aerial score of the night — giving the Rutgers-bound receiver his first touchdown of the season. Schoen extended the play under pressure, rolled left, and found Alvarez with a step on his defender in the corner of the end zone. Geraci's crossing route set it up perfectly.
Joseph Bercovicz was automatic, converting all five extra point attempts.
The Don Bosco Prep defense was suffocating from start to finish. Jack Hinspeter and Mikahi Allen were disruptive forces in the front seven, combining on stops throughout the night. Charlie Hughes and Tyler Bayani brought size and physicality to the defensive line. Rocco Scialla made his presence felt in the secondary. The Ironmen held Paramus Catholic scoreless after the opening field goal until garbage time, when Chukwuma Odoh punched in a late touchdown — the extra point was blocked — to make it 35-9.
Paramus Catholic's special teams struggles continued as well, with a blocked PAT adding to a difficult evening. Meanwhile, Christopher Haines delivered a quality punt late in the game that pinned the opposition deep, and Don Bosco's coverage units controlled field position throughout.
Don Bosco Prep has now outscored Paramus Catholic 105-9 across the last three meetings. The Ironmen have wins over Armwood (Florida), Roman Catholic (Pennsylvania), Pope John, and now Paramus Catholic — with zero losses heading into the heart of the schedule. The number one ranking in New Jersey looks well-earned.
